Gercy Galang is a hair stylist and makeup artist based in San Diego, CA. She discovered her love for hair styling at a young age, while growing up in the Paradise Hills community of southeast San Diego. Gercy started out by practicing braiding techniques on friends and setting up local pop-up braiding booths at events around the city. Her natural talent evolved into a passion as she pursued an innate drive to become a professional stylist. Eventually, Gercy found herself with a growing list of regional and international clientele who have continued to seek out her unique artistry in hair styling and makeup work.

Beyond the salon, Gercy has continued to expand her creative portfolio, teaming up with visual artists for editorial campaigns, fine art series and leading intensive styling workshops that aim to help develop emerging stylist’s skillsets. Mastering traditional techniques with a complete dedication to her craft and creatively expanding her personal vision while traveling the world and exploring nature - Gercy’s curiosity and attention to detail have driven her to perfect the art of merging refined basics with an elegant, modern edge.

Gercy enjoys developing true connections with each client in her chair and she’s become the go-to artist for anyone seeking something beautifully classic, inspirationally creative, or something “just them.”
